He breathed his last at 1:20 pm while undergoing treatment at Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. He was suffering from kidney disease for a long time. He was admitted to the hospital on May 11 after his health deteriorated further. The news of Satyapal Malik's death was given on his social media account.
