Protests are taking place across the country over the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. In Jamnagar too, a silent rally was organized today under the banner of Hindu Ekta Samiti and made representations by sending an application to the district collector. Hindu temples are being demolished in Bangladesh and terrible atrocities are being committed on Hindus, which is worrisome. Thus, the Constitution is being strangled in Bangladesh. 59 per cent of the violence took place in the temple and 69 temples have been attacked during worship. Houses belonging to the Hindu community have been vandalised and looted. Many Hindus have been killed. 1500 Hindu teachers have been forced to resign. There is pressure to change religion, and the Government of Bangladesh has failed to control such incidents, so the Government of Bangladesh should be strongly pressurized and strict steps should be taken to stop the atrocities and strict action should be taken against the culprits. The Bangladesh government should be pressured to protect Hindus, give them freedom to practice religion and culture and improve the human rights situation.
Also, especially Sant Chinmaya Krishnadasji should be released immediately. With all these demands, a huge silent rally was taken out today under the banner of The Hindu Ekta Samiti of Jamnagar. The silent rally that started from Saralaben Trivedi Bhawan reached the collector's office where an application was sent to the district collector. A large number of brothers and sisters participated in this petition-rally, which was attended by representatives of organizations including RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal, Hindu Sena, Hindu Jagran Manch.
