Vadodara: The Vadodara police have arrested a relative from Vadodara who escaped from a court in Vadodara. The Akota police are interrogating him further.
Ajay alias Akash Dineshbhai Rokade (Ranjit Nagar, Parshuram's Kiln, Sayajiganj), who was arrested for raping a girl in Sayajiganj, was produced before the court on May 30 when he escaped from the police custody after going to the toilet and returning from the spot.
While the police teams were searching for him, Sama police hacko Deepak Jabbar received information about the accused and a crime branch team raided a relative's house in Dondaicha village near Dhulia in Maharashtra and caught the accused in his sleep.
