Surat Corporation: A breach occurred in the drainage line of surat municipal corporation during the work by a private contractor at Sudama Chowk in Varachha zone of Surat Municipality. This was the main line and it was forced to close the line due to a breach. A notice was issued to the agency for the breach in the municipal line. After that, an exercise was also started to file a police case. A fine of Rs 2 lakh has been collected from the agency for the damage caused to the municipality.
