Ahmedabad Shastri Bridge: A notification has been issued by the traffic police to close the bridge for the next seven months as the bearing and pedestal road on one side of Shastri Bridge connecting Narol Junction to Vishala needs to be repaired immediately after reports of damage.
In which vehicles coming from Narol have been instructed to be diverted from Pirana. Thousands of vehicles pass through the Shastri Bridge connecting Narol and Vishala Circle every day. Some of the bearings and pedestals on the side of the bridge going from Narol to Vishala Circle of this bridge have been reported to be dilapidated, according to the Highway Authority.
