We would like to draw your attention to the forthcoming visit of Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan General Asim Munir to the United States. Munir heads an organisation that is involved in human rights violations in Pakistan-occupied Balochistan. The Pakistan Army and its intelligence agency ISI have not only disappeared more than 40,000 Baloch civilians but have also been active in sheltering global terrorists including Osama bin Laden.
We request you to respectfully ask Gen Munir on what legal or moral basis Pakistan claims its natural resources of Balochistan and whether it can claim any such reserves in the province of Punjab," the letter read.
