Accused Momin Pathan leaked documents The complaint mentions that even though Momin Pathan did not have the right to disclose any government document or its information, he leaked documents through electronic means and demanded money in the name of the office. The assistant collector termed the entire incident as a serious irregularity and demanded strict action. On the basis of this, Nilambagh police have registered a case against Momin M Pathan under BNS sections 318(2), 212, 204, 228 and 356 and further investigation is underway. Accused arrested for taking bribe in property transfer case The police have finally nabbed the accused who took a bribe in connection with the transfer of property despite the unrest in Bhavnagar city. A complaint of acceptance of bribe was registered against former provincial officer Pratibha Dahiya's driver Momin Pathan for transferring property. His CCTV in this case also went viral. 17 days after the complaint was lodged, the Bhavnagar LCB police received information and arrested Momin Pathan from his house today. Police have handed him over to Nilambagh police station and have taken standard action against him. Momin Pathan will be produced in court tomorrow afternoon. The police will mainly probe in his interrogation to find out at whose behest and for whom he was taking bribes to get the property transferred.
