'Don't get involved in this case now or we will kill you': Man attacked with pipe on suspicion of having an affair with his friend's wife, three accused booked

A young man was attacked outside his house by three youths in Bhavnagar city's Motilav area on suspicion of having an affair with his friend's wife. The accused held the youth and hit him on the cheek with a pipe and threatened his life. The accused beat up the youth on suspicion Junaidbhai Jabbarbhai Khwaja, a resident of Street No. 0, Burani Masjid Khancha in Motilav area, had lodged a complaint with the Bortalav police station alleging that his friend's wife Arman was having an affair with Munafbhai Malek. The accused attacked him on suspicion that Junaidbhai had told this to his friend and family. At 12.15 am last night, Arman Munafbhai Malek, Aman and Noordeen alias Bhuji (all three of Motitalav, Kumbharwala) called Junaidbhai out of the house. The injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment The trio then attacked him. Arman and I held Junaidbhai while Noordeen alias Bhuji stabbed him on the cheek with a pipe. The accused also thrashed him with a hammer. During the attack, the accused threatened Junaidbhai, saying, "You will not get involved in this case anymore, otherwise we will kill you." He was shifted to the hospital for treatment. The police have intensified the investigation to nab the accused. On the basis of Junaidbhai's complaint, the Bortalav police registered a case against the three accused Arman Munafbhai Malek, Aman and Noordeen alias Bhuji under Sections 118(1), 351(3), 352, 54, 125 (A) of the BNS Act and Section 135 of the GP Act. The incident has created an atmosphere of tension in the Motilake area. Police have intensified investigations to nab the accused.
