The bugle of local body elections in Gujarat has already been sounded. Polling will be held on April 26 for 15 municipal corporations, 84 municipalities, 34 district panchayats and 260 taluka panchayats. The counting of votes will take place on April 28. At present, the three parties — the BJP, the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party — are announcing the names of their candidates. BJP-Congress and AAP are ready for an election battle in Bhuj taluka panchayat.
