The vadodara crime branch police station personnel received specific information that Sagar alias Lalit Maheshbhai Kahar, who lives in the lane of Dandia Bazar Shivaji Panhouse, had kept a quantity of liquor for sale in his house as well as in the nearby khander house. On the basis of which the police set up a watch and picked up Sagar Kahar and seized a quantity of liquor from his house. A huge quantity of liquor was also recovered from a nearby dilapidated house. The police seized 251 bottles of foreign liquor and a total of Rs 1,00,350 in cash, including tins and activa. It is learnt that the remand has been sought for further investigation into from whom the quantity of liquor was procured.
