Chandrumana Gauri Mata Patotsav on April 27, 2500 devotees to arrive: committees to be formed for arrangements, newly constructed entrance to be unveiled

The Patotsav of Shri Gauri Mata Temple in Chandrumana village of Patan taluka will be held on the next Vaishakh Sud Eleven, 27th April 2026. A formal meeting of the board of trustees and executive was held on Thursday to plan and deliberate. More than 2500 devotees are expected to attend the Patotsav. In the meeting, it was decided to form various committees for the arrangement of Patotsav and assign the responsibility to the appropriate persons. On the day of Patotsav, the newly constructed entrance gate of Mataji's temple will be inaugurated by unveiling a plaque. Arrangements for food for devotees were also discussed. On this day, food will be prepared for 2000 devotees and Farali food will be prepared for 500 devotees. Other issues included the elevation of the wall adjacent to the entrance, holding a general meeting at the Bharatiya Traditional Meeting, fixing the name of the new food donor, providing sherbet service from Dilipbhai Rajkot like every year, availability of adequate water supply and purchase of necessary utensils. The meeting was attended by Shri Gauri Mata Devasthan Trust vice-president LD Patel, former president Pramodbhai Vyas, minister Sureshbhai Vyas, trustees Jyotindrabhai Vyas, Mulshankar Vyas, Dilipbhai Vyas, Bharatbhai Vyas, Ramjibhai Patel, Vinubhai Patel, Nitinbhai Vyas and other members. It is worth mentioning that on the occasion of Chaitra Poonam, Mataji's yagna was held as the host of Nikhilbhai Girishbhai Bhagat (Sardoi, now Mumbai) and Jigneshbhai Dave, Bharatbhai Dave and Mehulbhai as the principal. While Vaghel, a resident of the late Ghelabhai Ramchandbhai Madat and the late Meal prasad was served by the family of Dayabhai Ramchandbhai Madat.
