Vadodara: A case has been registered under sections of rape and interrogation is underway after the driver of a school-going van started physically assaulting a teenage girl in Gotri area here, police said on Sunday.
The girl's parents told the police, "A week ago, we had built a school uniform van for our daughter.
For the first two days, he left regularly, but after that the driver used to leave five to ten minutes late.
When the student came to know about the lewd act by the driver with her, the parents were shocked and immediately contacted PI R D Chauhan of J P Road police station and informed that he has registered a case against the driver of the school van, Sadiq Rathod, and sought arrest.
