
CWG-2030 : Preparations for the Commonwealth Games (CWG-2030) to be held in Gujarat in the year 2030 have gained momentum. The first delegation of the Commonwealth Sports Team has arrived in Gujarat to observe and study the conduct of this grand Games. During the tour, the team will also visit various sports venues in Vadodara.
A five-member team, led by Commonwealth Games President Donald Rookre, and office bearers of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) are scheduled to stay in Gujarat from April 8 to April 11. The team will visit important sports infrastructure, including the Vadodara Cricket Stadium.
