The holy festival of Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated with great fervour in Himmatnagar along with the rest of the country. The birth anniversary of Bajrang Bali was celebrated by organising various religious programmes in the Mahavirnagar area of the city, including the Yagna at Kuberdham and the mass recitation of Hanuman Chalisa in the Umiya temple premises. Kuberdham: On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, special pujas were organized at Kuberdham in Mahavirnagar. Umiya Temple: Mass Hanuman Chalisa and Ramdhun On the other hand, a devotional program was held in the premises of the Umiya temple in Mahavirnagar itself in association with the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Gayatri Parivar. The event was organised by Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Parivar (Shanti Kunj, Haridwar) and Kankral Gayatri Pragyapith in the presence of His Holiness Pandit Shri Ram Sharma Acharya. On this occasion, Ramdhun, recitation of Hanuman Chalisa, Shri Ram Stuti and mass aarti were performed. Along with this, inspiring discussions were held on the life stories of Lord Shri Ram and Hanuman ji. Local residents of Himmatnagar, children, elders and a large number of Matrushakti were present in both these religious programs and took advantage of the darshan and prasad. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists and Umiya temple trustees worked hard to make the event a success.
