Iran has put strict conditions on the proposed talks with the United States. Parliament Speaker Mohammed Bager Ghalibaf has said that talks will not begin until a ceasefire is implemented in Lebanon. He has demanded the disclosure of Iran's frozen funds. Ghalibaf made it clear that both these issues needed to be resolved before negotiations. An important meeting between the two countries is going to be held in Islamabad. According to Iranian media reports, an Iranian delegation led by parliamentary speaker Ghalibaf has arrived in Islamabad for talks with US officials. On the other hand, US Vice President JD Vance has left for Pakistan for talks. He warned Iran that the United States is ready if it talks honestly, but that any attempt to play a "game" will be given a strong response. The United States and Iran are set to discuss Iran's nuclear program. Iran should remove all of its high-level enriched uranium and shut down or limit its nuclear facilities.
Strait of Hormuz - Most of the world's oil and gas passes through this route. Iran still wants to retain control and is demanding tolls. The United States wants this route to be completely open and secure, without any barriers and fees.
Ballistic Missile Program - The United States wants to ban Iran's long-range missiles.
