Navkar Mantra Diwas celebrated: 16,000 Jains chanted 17.28 lakh Jains at 3 places

Navkar Mantra Day was celebrated at 3 places for the purpose of world peace by JITO. On this occasion, Gachhadhipati Padmashri Acharya Nityanand Surishwer Ji Maharaj at Atmiyadham, Manjalpur offered the Nira. A total of 17.28 lakh chants were performed at all the three places. Convener Prashant Shah and JITO president Pokhraj Doshi explained the purpose of the programme at the event held at Atmiya Dham. On this occasion, Gachadhipati Acharya Nityanand Surishwer Ji Maharaj administered the auspicious vow. When Mokshanandji Maharaj sent a message from Vallabhasuri Maharaj and called upon all Jains to unite.In the morning, a procession of Navkar Kumbh was taken out by the beneficiary Prakash Shah family and the Kumbh was installed at the meeting place. Vimal Bokadia of Jito said that Navkar Mantra was organized at Karelibaug Swaminarayan Temple. Tattvadarshan Maharaj of the Vallabhsuri community started the programme by reciting Manglik. On the other hand, chanting was held under the guidance of Acharya Agamratna Maharaj at Sir Sayajirao Nagar Griha, Shankar Mehta said. Jain leader Deepak Shah said that more than 16,000 Jain devotees gathered at all the three places and joined the Mahajap. Arrival of Padma Shri Awardee Jainacharya Gachadhipati Acharya Nityanand Suri Maharaj is the first Acharya to receive the Padma Shri award. He had travelled 1800 kms. Awareness about the values of the mantra will be brought Chaitra Sud VIII has been declared as Navkar day. The Navkar Mantra is not just a mantra but a slogan of salutation to the Panch Parameshthi Bhagwans. The main motive behind celebrating Navkar Diwas is to create awareness among the new generation about the values of this mantra and its impact.
