SMC Food Safety: After the work of collecting samples of mawa for sweets in the festival of Shravan month, today the Food Department of the Municipal Corporation took samples of sweets from sweet shops and sent them to the lab for testing.
With the beginning of the month of Shravan, the festival season has also started and now in the coming days as it is the festival of Rakshabandhan, sweets will be sold. The municipality has started taking samples from various sweet shops in the city since this morning to ensure that people eat good sweets. As many as 11 samples have been collected by noon and the operation will continue till late evening.
