World Lion Day was celebrated with fervour at Podar International School in Veraval. From August 5 to 8, all educational, admins, housekeeping and driving staff enthusiastically participated in the Lion Conservation Week. In the special prayer meeting, a pledge was taken for lion conservation and the message of 'save the lion, save nature' was given. The purpose of this celebration was to spread awareness about the Asiatic lion and to fulfill the responsibility towards the environment.
