In Bihar, the elections came to an end and the leader's leaf was cut off: Tejashwi Yadav, my and my wife's name is not in the voter list; Look carefully, says Election Commission

Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav's name has been dropped from the electoral rolls. Tejashwi Yadav himself gave this information at a press conference in Patna on Saturday. "The name is not in the voters' list even after the BLO came and verified us," he said, when Bhaskar asked if his wife's voter ID card had been made. He then said, 'When I have not made it, how will it be my wife's?'' He also asked the commission, 'How will I contest the election now?' Tejashwi Yadav released his voter ID card at a press conference. He entered the EPIC number to see his name in the voters' list, the result of which was written - No record has been found. Tejaswi showed the whole process on screen, though Patna DM SN Thyagarajan has denied Tejashwi's claim. He has released the booth list, in which tejashwi Yadav's name and his photo are on number 416. "It has been learnt from some media that Tejashwi Prasad Yadav's name does not figure in the draft electoral rolls of the special comprehensive reform. An inquiry in this regard was conducted by the Patna district administration. It was found that the name of the leader of the opposition was registered in the draft voters' list. "At present, his name is registered at polling station number 204, library building, serial number 416 of Bihar Animal Science University. Earlier, his name was registered at polling station number 171, library building, serial number 481 of Bihar Animal Science University," Tejashwi yadav said. About 65 lakh voters i.e. about 8.5% of the total voters have been deleted from the list. "Whenever the Election Commission used to give any announcement, it was mentioned that many people have migrated, many people have died and many have duplicate names, but in the list given to us by the Election Commission, they have not cleverly given the address of any voter." "The commission will do what the two Gujaratis say," Tejashwi Yadav said. It has become a dock commission. This was done without taking political parties into confidence. The commission did not listen to our demands." "Even the Supreme Court's suggestion was ignored. We had said from the beginning that the names of the poor will be deleted. The Election Commission has completed the process.' The Commission went back to its words. It was said that information on the names of those whose names would be deleted would be provided. This information was to be given to political parties by the Election Commission. On Friday, a delegation of the Grand Alliance went to the Election Commission but no information was given. Tejashwi further said, "If the Election Commission has deleted the names of 65 lakh people, was there any notice issued to them by the Commission? Did the Election Commission give him time? The Election Commission is doing a targeted job." "Names of 65 lakh people have been deleted. The Supreme Court should take suo motu cognizance of the matter and seek a response from the Election Commission. There have been large-scale scams in this process." "I challenge the Chief Election Commissioner that if you have the courage, you should give booth-wise data and tell the people whose names have been deleted as to why they have been deleted. We want to know from Gyanesh Kumar Gupta, who has been appointed to the post of Chief Election Commissioner, why he is not maintaining transparency." Names of 65 lakh voters deleted The Election Commission has released the data of the month-long Intensive Reform Campaign (SIR) i.e. the first phase of voter verification in Bihar. According to the draft electoral roll, the names of 65 lakh 64 thousand voters have been deleted from the new electoral roll of Bihar. According to the Election Commission, the names of 7 crore 24 lakh 5 thousand 756 people are in the draft voter list. Earlier this figure was 7 crore 89 lakh. Kishanganj has the highest Muslim population of 68%. Katihar has 43% Muslim population, Araria has 42% Muslim population, Purnia has 38% Muslim population and Darbhanga has 25% Muslim population.
