- Unidentified youth's body found floating in canal

Two persons drowned in the Narmada river and the Narmada Main Canal.
Mahesh Ganpatbhai Vasava, 53, a resident of Bazar Phalia in Nani Koral village of Karjan taluka, died after he drowned in the deep waters of the Narmada river while he was going for a bath in the morning in the Narmada river passing through the village. His body was found an hour later in the Narmada river.
In another incident, the body of an unidentified youth, aged between 35 and 45 years, was recovered from the Narmada Main Canal on the outskirts of Gambhirpura village in Waghodia taluka.
