According to the information received, the siblings died after drowning in a swimming pool in Sopan Heights in Raiyadhar area of Rajkot. Seven-year-old Dipesh Bhandari and his five-year-old sister Deepiksha Bhandari drowned in a swimming pool. The death of the siblings has left the family in mourning. The entire matter was further investigated by the university police. The death of a sibling has sent shockwaves through the Nepali family.

parents and others working in the building rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported. After a lot of struggle, they pulled the two children out of the water and rushed them to the Civil Hospital by 108 ambulance but the doctors on duty declared both the innocents dead after examination. The police have registered a case of accidental death and further investigation is underway.

Meanwhile, a one-and-a-half-year-old girl died after drowning in a bucket of water in Surat. The incident took place at Amritnagar in Kadodara town of Palsana taluka. The father had gone to the shop to buy biscuits, but the girl was not found when she returned home. The girl was found submerged in a bucket filled with water in the bathroom as the father searched. The girl was rushed to the hospital where doctors on duty declared her brought dead.
