Some roads in the city will be closed for 16 days: Vadodara city police commissioner issues notification for traffic due to rain line operations, know what is diversion and alternative arrangement

The city police commissioner has issued a notification to avoid traffic problems due to rain line operations at Golden Bridge Junction in Vadodara. Due to this, diversions have been given on some roads and alternative arrangements have also been made for the movement of vehicles. Rain line work will be taken up at Golden Bridge Junction According to a letter issued by Khanderao Market Building, the Denage-Rain Sewerage Project branch of the Municipal Corporation, the work of rain drainage lines is being carried out at various junctions in the city. After the completion of work at Ajwa, Waghodia, Kapurai and Tarsali Junction, the work of laying new rain lines through pre-cast boxes (3.0 m x 3.0 m) will now be started at the remaining Golden Bridge Junction. All types of vehicles plying from Airport Circle to Gada Circle towards Halol via Golden Bridge will be prohibited for four, three and two-wheelers. The alternative route is from Airport Circle to Motibhai Circle, Gada Circle, Damru Circle, Motnath Mahadev Mandir Road, Dena Bridge and then turn right towards Golden Bridge. Notification issued for alternative traffic arrangements During this operation, it has been decided to close the entry of all types of vehicles from the Golden Bridge towards the city. In order to minimize inconvenience to the citizens and to ensure smooth flow of traffic, the police department has issued a notification to implement alternative traffic arrangements. The notification will be in force from April 10 to 25 Commissioner of Police Narasimha Komar in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 33(1)(b) of the Gujarat Police Act, 1951.
