Eight states have been affected by floods due to rains in the current season in the country. Out of all these flood affected states, the Central Government has announced assistance for 3 states. Gujarat has also been included in the flood affected states. At the same time, the central government has provided assistance of Rs 600 crore to the state of Gujarat. Apart from Gujarat, the central government has allocated rs 50 crore for Manipur and Rs 25 crore for the state of Tripura. The Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam has reached its full level for the first time this year. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will visit Kevadia Colony at 12.39 pm today when the Narmada Dam has reached its maximum level of 138.68 meters.
