During the monsoon, nine children from Hafeshwar village have to board a boat to go to school

Vadodara: Even after 75 years of independence, crores of children of the country are struggling every day to get education in rural areas . Hafeshwar village of Kwant taluka of Chhotaudepur district is  one such area.

In Hafeshwar village of Kawant taluka, there is a pako road to the main road, but in the middle of the foothills of the hill, there are six different phalias where there is no road. On the other hand, the primary school is located on the opposite  bank of the end of Hafeshwar.

At present, when the water is overflowing in the wells, as many as nine students are put in a boat from one side of the quarry for studies and taken by the parents to the primary school of Padar Palia, located on the right bank of the river, and they come back.

The parents have also arranged for this boat and the petrol to operate it. Parents say that the government asks to teach the daughters, but in this  situation, how to teach the daughters? In fact, the government should also arrange for a boat or another small school should be built at one end of the village so that the children do not have to sit in the boat during the monsoon.

Hafeshwar village is the last  village in Gujarat. Nearby, the Narmada river passes   and on the opposite bank is the border of Madhya Pradesh, while at the other end  is the   border of Maharashtra. Even though people  from the poor tribal community do not have the means of employment, they make the children study at the risk of their lives.
