The crime branch was sweating it out when the court asked why he was arrested without notice.

Vadodara: A vadodara court today granted bail to a  businessman who had expressed his anger against a local woman MLA after he fought the flood situation. However, there is anger among the people that the police have taken action against the businessman by becoming a political hand.

The people of Vadodara, who were devastated by the floods, no longer have the freedom to even protest under the BJP rule. Kuldeep Bhatt, a 45-year-old businessman who lives in a Silver Oak flat on Harni Road, and his family have also been affected by the floods, so in an angry interview given to the media, the businessman expressed his anger against the woman MLA. This did not go down well with the city BJP and a complaint was lodged with the Crime Branch against Kuldeep Bhatt. He was arrested.

The flood-hit businessman, who had expressed anger against the woman MLA, was arrested, but the Crime Branch was stunned to reply to the court.

This act of Vadodara BJP has caused anger among the people. On the other hand, the court has released the businessman on bail, seeking bail with the submission that the complaint against him was made under political pressure. Senior advocate Praveen Thakkar, appearing for the businessman, argued that prima facie the businessman had not committed any offence but a complaint had been lodged against him. However, the sections that have been slapped against the trader are punishable with imprisonment for less than 3 years. According to supreme court rulings, in cases of punishment less than 7 years, the accused has to be given notice first. If they do not comply with the conditions of the notice, it is decided to arrest them. In addition, in this crime, bail should be obtained from the police station itself, instead the businessman was arrested without giving notice and instead of giving bail from the police station itself, he was also presented in the court. What is surprising is that the crime branch registered a case against the businessman instead of the local police station. Which shows that this complaint is due to political pressure. After the arguments of the advocate, the court directly questioned the Crime Branch as to why the accused Kuldeep Bhatt was arrested without notice. The crime branch was sweating it out over the court's question and the officers present could not give any answer. The court released Kuldeep Bhatt on bail after hearing the submissions of both the parties.
