Vadodara: The Vadodara Crime Branch has arrested a man, who is serving a life sentence in connection with the murder of his wife in Karjan taluka of Vadodara district, who is absconding after being released on parole.
On 13-10-2016, Kirit alias Jignesh Kabhai Patanwadia, a resident of Sandrana village in Karjan taluka, and his wife had repeatedly clashed and sprayed kerosene on his wife.
After hearing the arguments in the case, the court convicted the husband and sentenced him to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 3,000.
Kirit, the killer, was recently released on parole for 14 days and after not appearing after that, the central jail authorities informed the police.
