The accused, who had abducted the teenager from Anand Panthak two and a half years ago, was picked up from the border of Bodal village, the girl was captured.

Anand Rural Police have arrested the accused, who has been on the run for the last two-and-a-half years in the kidnapping case, from Harkhapura Tabe Bodal border area near Borsad and took possession of the victim's teenager from him. Sunil Hiteshbhai Chavda, who lives near The Jagannath Temple in Anand town, had abducted and taken away a 16-year-old girl two years ago. Anand Rural police registered a case against Sunil Chavda on the basis of a complaint lodged by the girl's maternal uncle. But Sunil Chavda was roaming around dancing away from the police custody. On the other hand, under the guidance of Ahmedabad Division Inspector General of Police J.R. Mothaliya and Anand district E Superintendent of Police S.B. Kumpawat, a special drive was conducted in the district to nab the accused who were abducted and roaming around. Meanwhile, anand rural police received information that Sunil Chavda, the accused in the kidnapping crime, was with the teenager in The Harkhapura Tabe Bodal border area near Borsad. So the police team went to the Bodal border area and detained Sunil Hiteshbhai Chavda and took possession of the teenager from him and took further action.
