As part of the Kanya Kelavani and School Enrollment Drive 2025, the program in Detroj Taluka was celebrated in the spirit of a public festival this year. A total of 866 young children were enrolled in kindergartens at various primary schools in the taluka, along with 695 students in Grade 9 and 394 students in Grade 11 in secondary schools.The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local villagers, and senior officials from the state government were also present. Dr. Sudhirkumar Desai, Superintendent of Police (Intelligence), Mr. P.K. Trivedi, Chairman of the State Examination Board, the Detroj Mamlatdar, the Taluka Development Officer, and the Taluka Health Officer visited over 25 different locations across the taluka.
A New Beginning for Students with a Blend of Knowledge and Values
During the enrollment festival, educational kits were distributed to young children. Additionally, winners of various school-level competitions were felicitated by the dignitaries. Through interaction with School Management Committee (SMC) members, discussions were held on the importance of girl child education and school enrollment. Parents were urged to support their children in completing their secondary education up to Grade 12.On this occasion, the dignitaries also planted saplings of drumstick, sweet neem, guava, and lemon, spreading the message of environmental awareness.
Special Participation and Corporate Support at Dekavada Pay Center School
Today, a special program was organized at the Dekavada Pay Center Primary School, where District Development Officer Shri Videh Khare graced the event with his presence. Alongside him were Mr. Digneshsinh Solanki and Mr. Sunny Hajare, heads of UNO Minda Company. For the past decade, UNO Minda has been distributing free school kits, notebooks, and educational materials to all students of the school. The company has also provided essential infrastructure such as a water cooler and a prayer stage.
The program was attended by a large number of Taluka and District Panchayat officials, village sarpanches, and SMC members, turning the enrollment drive into a true people’s celebration.
