Ticket seekers present in Morbi on BJP foundation day: Most of the 1007 leaders who sought tickets were absent from the programme

The foundation day of the BJP in Morbi district was celebrated at the Kamalam office. BJP Rashtriya Kisan Morcha general secretary Babu Jebaliya was present at the event. Most of the 1007 leaders who sought tickets for the local body polls were absent from the programme, which became a topic of discussion. The event held on April 6 was presided over by Babu Jebalia. Morbi district BJP president Jayanti Rajkotia, Gajendra Saxena, Brijesh Merja, Hansaben Parghi and Raghavji Gadara were also present. On this occasion, Babu Jebalia addressed the workers regarding the upcoming local body elections. He asserted that the ticket should go to any worker but the ultimate goal should be to win only the lotus. He appealed to the workers who did not get tickets to join hands with the party candidate and work for victory instead of adopting a 'see' attitude. Recalling the journey of the BJP from two MPs to an absolute majority government, the sacrifices of the grassroots workers were applauded. The workers of Morbi district resolved to strengthen the BJP family further. A total of 255 seats in district panchayat, five taluka panchayats, three municipalities and one municipal corporation will go to polls in Morbi district. As many as 1007 leaders have sought tickets from the BJP for these seats. However, the absence of such a large number of ticket seekers at the foundation day event became a topic of discussion. However, local leaders were relieved that the hall was filled.
