Vadodara, Nov 11 (IANS) The last day of filing of nomination forms for the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) elections was held on Thursday. Rallies of candidates of other parties and independents, including the BJP and the Congress, as well as a large number of supporters, created an atmosphere of the election. A large number of candidates were present at the election officer's office today. A total of 408 forms were filled on the last day today while a total of 417 candidates were found to have filled 472 forms for a total of 19 wards of the corporation.
The election process began with the announcement of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation elections on Monday.
