Saurabh English Medium School in Ahmedabad's Nava Vadaj is in such a controversy. Allegations of exclusion of students due to inability to pay school fees. The student was also not allowed to sit in the examination hall as the fees were pending. Admission to the exam was only after the assurance of paying the fees
There was a big controversy over the fees issue at Saurabh English Medium School in the Nava Vadaj area of Ahmedabad. The parents alleged that due to arrears of fees, the school managements made around 20 students stand outside instead of allowing them to enter the examination hall. A parent said his daughter called him at 7.30 am and informed him that she was not allowed to appear for the exam as she owed a fee of Rs 6,000. The student was allowed to appear for the exam only after she was assured to pay the fees within 24 hours. On the other hand, the principal of the school has defended himself by denying all these allegations that no child has been made to sit outside for fees and all the children have taken the exam on time
