An attempt to sell land worth crores of rupees in Sarodhi village of Valsad taluka has exploded. A case has been registered against the two accused at Valsad Rural police station. Pratikbhai Yajneshbhai Desai, a businessman, has lodged a complaint with valsad rural police. He said in the complaint that survey no. 352 and old survey no. A total of 2530 sq. m. in 107. An attempt was made to sell the NA land to the Ahir family of Navsari by creating false documents. A case has been registered against Nilesh Rameshbhai Prajapati and Zubair Iqbal Memon and their other unidentified associates under sections 318(4), 336(2)(3), 338, 340(2), 242, 61(2), 62 of the BNS. The accused had prepared a false Aadhaar card and PAN card of Pratikbhai Desai. They identified themselves as Pratikbhai Desai, the owner of the land. An Ahir family member from Navsari had made a false connection with him. The accused had made a satakhat on a stamp paper of Rs 300 with a false signature and photograph in the name of complainant Pratik Desai. They tried to sell the land to Harishbhai Nathubhai Ahir (resident of Sisodara, G. Navsari) by notifying this document. A police team led by Valsad rural PI Bhavik Jitia has started collecting evidence against the accused. Police have recorded the statement of Pratik Desai and further investigation is underway with the help of a technical surveillance team. A search has also been launched for the other involved ismo.
