
Ahmedabad News: Despite the strict action of the police to curb the menace of usury in Ahmedabad city, the moneylenders have become ruthless. In a shocking incident, a trader in Navrangpura area was allegedly beaten up and threatened for more money despite being charged a high interest rate of 10 per cent per month. Navrangpura police have registered a case in this regard and have taken legal action against the moneylender.
