Vadodara: In view of the festival of Rakshabandhan, food safety officers of Vadodara Municipal Corporation have checked the shops of sweets farsan and sent samples to the laboratory for testing.
After checking at Sandeep Sweets and Namkeen in Makarpura, samples of Sweet Khoya, Kesari Angoori Penda were taken. After checking at Mr. Caterers in Lakkadpitha area, samples of cashew nutty coated with silver leaf and cashew fig roll coated with silver leaf were taken. Samples of mawa apple, kesarpenda, cashew mango were taken from Jagdish Farsan on Chhani Road. In Subhanpura, Shri Annapurna did pre-inspection into the women's home industry.
