Various programmes based on the theme of "Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhta" are being organized in Anand district as part of the celebration of National Independence Day. Several activities have been organised under this campaign under the guidance of district collector Praveen Chaudhary. These include wall painting, rangoli competition, painting competition, poster making and quiz competitions. The students have written postcards to the brave soldiers of the country praising their bravery and patriotism. Rakhi competition has also been organised by sakhi mandals. Patriotic rallies and cleanliness drives have been conducted in rural areas. The District Education Officer, District Primary Education Officer and Government Officer have appealed to more and more students and parents in all schools of the district to participate in this program. Teachers have been encouraged to take selfies with the tricolour and upload them and students have been encouraged to participate in tiranga quizzes. Apart from this, a cleanliness drive has also been carried out in schools. Students of primary, secondary and higher secondary schools across the district, including Anand city, have enthusiastically participated in these programmes. Through this campaign, the feeling of patriotism among the students will be strengthened and the feeling of respect towards the national flag will increase.
