Food safety officers of Vadodara Corporation checked at 13 places and took samples of 10 food items in view of Shravan and Rakshabandhan festivals.
A sample of kesari penda and ghantand barfi was taken from Kheteshwar Sweet and Farsan in Makarpura. The GIDC had served a notice of uncleanliness at Krishna Kathiawadi in Makarpura and destroyed 500 grams of plastic bags. The pre-inspection was done at the Karelibagh cloud store and harni sankalp at the Kathiawadi dhaba.
