Vadodara: Elections to the newly formed Waghodia Municipal Corporation in Vadodara district will be held for the first time.
Elections to 34 seats of Vadodara district panchayat, 170 seats of eight taluka panchayats and four municipalities of Waghodia, Dabhoi, Padra and Savli will also be held on April 26.
Out of these, Waghodia Municipality has been formed for the first time and 64 BJP candidates have sought tickets for 24 seats in 6 wards.
