Pethapur police received information that notorious bootlegger Pradeep Singh alias Pintu Vaghela, a resident of Srinath Society, had stuffed a consignment of foreign liquor in a white coloured Artica car and kept it in the common plot of the society. On the basis of this information, the police conducted an immediate raid. Opening the door of the car found beer and liquor boxes
Police found a white Artica car without a number plate from there. When the door of the car was opened, boxes of foreign beer and liquor were found inside. He was also in a closed condition while checking the house of accused Pradeep Singh. As the quantity of liquor was high, the police called a crane and took the car to the police station and counted it. Goods worth Rs 6.44 lakh seized
While counting the liquor at the police station, it was found that there was a quantity of liquor and beer worth Rs 1,44,000. The police have seized liquor and a car worth Rs 5 lakh and a total of Rs 6,44,000 in cash. At present, a case has been registered against the accused Pradeepsingh alias Pintu Dilipsinh Vaghela and further investigation is underway to nab him.
