Vadodara: Some of the liquor seized by the police to pay rs 39.64 lakh worth of foreign liquor to the informant was dealt with the bootlegger by the police. An investigation has been initiated by the top officials of the district police.
Four days ago, a container containing foreign liquor worth Rs 39.64 lakh was seized by the Jarod police from the Vadodara Halol Express Highway. In order to pay the money to the person who gave information about the liquor, the police personnel of Jarod made a deal with the bootleggers of Manjusar and Waghodia and called them to a hotel near Jarod to get the liquor.
