Global Shipping: The Strait of Hormuz, which is considered very important for global energy supply, has received news of relief amid ongoing tensions for some time. The sanctions imposed by Iran and bypassing new routes such as its toll booths appear to have opened up a new safe route for commercial vessels.

Remote sensing data indicates that at least four large vessels carrying oil, LNG and cargo have used Oman's territorial waters bypassing international waters.
