Supreme Court asks Centre to respond within a week on 26 Indians stranded in Russia


SC notice to MEA on Indians in Russia: The case of Indians who were forced to fight reluctantly in the ongoing fierce war between Russia and Ukraine has now reached the country's highest court. On Friday (April 10, 2026), the Supreme Court decided to intervene on behalf of 26 Indian nationals, who claimed that they are trapped there and are being forced to wage war.
