Surat Municipal Corporation's school with a budget of more than one thousand crores, the budget for cleanliness is only up to 4 thousand.

Surat : Surat has once again been at the forefront of the Swachhata Survekshan League, but there was a complaint in the general body meeting that due to lack of grants in the school from where the children are teaching lessons despite being clean, there was a complaint in the general meeting. A grant of barely Four thousand rupees is allocated for the cleaning of the schools of the committee with a budget of more than one thousand crores. There has been a demand to give cleanliness of the school not on the basis of the number of students but on the basis of the area of the school. 

The issue of school cleaning came up in the general body meeting of the committee. Opposition member Rakesh Hirapara said that congratulations to Surat for being number one in cleanliness in the country, but the school where children study is not given enough grants for cleanliness.
