Under the National Education Policy-2020 in Bharuch, a grand Gaurav Yatra was organized for the pride, protection and promotion of Sanskrit language. The yatra is a part of five specific schemes implemented by the Gujarat State Sanskrit Board, Gandhinagar. Organised as part of the three-day celebration of "Sanskrit Saptah Yojana", the Gaurav Yatra started from the Hostel Ground, the office of the District Education Officer. The yatra concluded at the collector's office via Shaktinath Circle. District education officer Swatiba Raole flagged off the yatra. A large number of students and teachers joined the yatra. During the entire journey, a musical and cultural holy atmosphere was created. The yatra showcased the heritage of Sanskrit culture such as Vedas, Upanishads, Rishimunis, Sanskrit poets, writers, Puranas, Mantrashastra and Vastu Shastra through tableaux and costumes. The importance and legacy of Sanskrit language was beautifully showcased through paintings and banners. On this occasion, students of various schools took out awareness rallies under the guidance of District Education Officer Swatiba Raul and Divyesh Patel of education office. Through this rally, an attempt was made to instill sympathy among the people towards The Sanskrit language.
