Rajkot: As there is a nominal penalty or a simple punishment for adulteration of food items in Rajkot and people come for shopping even after being caught adulterated, some traders are taking calculated risks and indulging in rampant adulteration. At present, thousands of people are fasting for the worship of Bholanath in the month of Shravan, when the food department of the Corporation checked the shop named Jalaram Farsan, which sells farali patties, and found corn flour used to make patties in it.
