Vadodara: Two women were killed when they were hit by a car while crossing the road near the National Highway Intola Chowk in Vadodara. The Varnama police have registered a case and are taking legal action.
The deceased were identified as Kapilaben Arjunbhai Dodiya (61), her daughter-in-law Falguniben, 14-year-old grandson, and other women residents Taraben Bhagwansinh Dodiya, Kailasben Rajubhai Chavda, Vimalaben Ramanbhai, Rajubhai Prabhatsinh Chavda and Lilaben Prabhatbhai Rabari of Prathampura village near Bhadarva in Savli taluka. At around 12 noon, they were crossing the road from Vadodara to Surat near the Intola chowk on National Highway 48.
