Vadodara: The Town Planning Department of Vadodara Municipal Corporation (BMC) has started a week-long drive in the wake of haphazard parking outside commercial and high-rise buildings in the city. In which the managers of the shop have been instructed to ensure that the customers coming there park the vehicle in the basement itself.
In view of the increasing traffic problem in the city, municipal commissioner Arun Mahesh Babu, in a review meeting held yesterday, urged the officials to solve the traffic problem. On the basis of which today, four teams have been formed in four zones under the leadership of Parimal Patni, an officer of the Town Planning Department, and started a week-long drive in different areas of the city.
