When Vadodara Municipal Corporation launched the tax recovery campaign yesterday saw 184 commercial property sealed in a day for Rs. Rs 2.17 crore has been discarded. Recently Municipal Commissioner Shalini Agarwal initiated the procedure for sealing off commercial properties on the basis that a meeting of Assistant Commissioner as well as Ward Officers had instructed the issuance of 95% tax by the end of March.
