A shocking case has come to light in Vadodara that a living man was shown dead on paper due to a flaw in the government system. Not only this, even though the man is alive, it was answered that it would take 20 days to revive him in the government records. Ziaul Rahman Hanifbhai Kachchi, who runs a cloth business in Vadodara, reached the narmada bhavan office on Monday to get a new one as his ration card was lost. After standing in the queue from 12 noon to 2 pm, his number came and he came to know that his ration card had been closed. So they were asked by the employee to fill another form to get a new ration card. However, the youth, who was standing in the queue again after filling the second form, was asked to come the next day as the work related to the ration card had been completed. Ziaul Rahman reached Narmada Bhavan at 11 am on Tuesday. And as soon as he reached the employee by entering the form at one o'clock in the afternoon, the employee said, 'In the system, your father is being shown as a dead person.' The son was a little shocked to hear this, and the young man said that my father is alive, and is at home. Also, his Aadhaar card and election card are active, all the documents of the father have also been given. But the employee told the young man that 'don't mess with me', he brought his father and got his finger print scanned and filled the form in the collector's office and brought the approval. After this whole incident, the son went home and told the whole thing to the father. So 63-year-old father Hanif Bashirbhai Kutchi reached the collector's office on Wednesday morning. Where he was heard by the woman employee and filled his form. When Hanifbhai asked if the ration card would come out now, the woman employee said, 'In the government system, it will be 20 days to make the dead person alive', and then after another 20 days, the process for the new ration card can be processed, and after 15 days a new ration card will be made. 'Problem due to technical glitch'
Rarely, such cases come up, in which there may be a problem due to technical reasons, which have also been resolved immediately. - Geetaben Desai, supply officer, slow functioning, server problems causing inconvenience to people
Work related to ration cards is going on in all the four mamlatdar offices by the collector system. In addition to this slow work, many problems, including server failures, have persisted, due to which people are also often angry with the system.
