Vadodara: A section of bribery has been added to the case of liquor seized from the Express Highway near Karjan in Vadodara, Ta.5, as well as the breach of Rs. 15 lakh, along with this, the investigation of the entire case has been handed over to the DySP.
It is worth mentioning that after the district police seized a large quantity of liquor in a tanker from the border of Sampa village, it was revealed that constable Sajan Ahir of the State Monitoring Cell had broken Rs. 15 lakh. Sajan Ahir was arrested at Karjan police station for the offence of prohibition as well as vandalism and is currently in jail after the expiry of his remand.
