Vadodara. For quite some time now, there has been panic among the people due to leopard terror in the banks of river Dev in Waghodia taluka. Meanwhile, last night, a forest department team ran after a leopard kill a four-year-old calf on the outskirts of Sangdol village. Cages will be set up to speed up the leopard soon.
Cages were repeatedly placed by the forest department as the leopard menace spread in the river Dev bank area. However, the leopard would not have been caged. Meanwhile, the body of a four-year-old leopard was recently found in a field on the outskirts of Muwada village near Vankuwa. The villagers heaved a sigh of relief.
However, last night, a four-year-old calf built in a field on the outskirts of Sangdol village was slaughtered by a leopard. This has created panic among villagers including cattle herders. Cattle herders believe that the entire family of leopards has arrived in Waghodia taluka area.
A forest department team reached a field in Sangdol village and inspected and is soon conducting an exercise to set up a cage to speed up the leopard at the site.
